Oh boy. I am getting VERY behind! I don't feel like a lot happened these two weeks. One exciting thing we did was went maternity clothes shopping for the first time! It was weird trying on maternity clothes. I ended up buying some leggings and a cardigan. The leggings are SO comfy. Excited to wear them this summer. Still in need of some maternity pants for work though. sigh....

I decided to combine these weeks so I could attempt to get caught up...

12 Weeks

Week 12 was a fun week. It was the week we decided to tell the world that we are expecting our little nino this October. Since my friend, Allyssa, was out of town, Johnny and I just decided to attempt some photos and edit it ourselves. I thought it turned out pretty durn good! Its funny now-a-days that within seconds, hundreds of people can hear the news and you don't have to make a million phone calls. Within seconds of putting up the photo to both of our pages we instantly got "likes" and "comments" It was fun to see what people had to say :)

**Sidenote: Funny story, I called my grandma to tell her I was pregnant. She was so excited. However, she thought it was my SISTER who had called, so then she began telling everyone that BreeAnn was pregnant. Haha luckily everyone else has FB and saw the announcement and set her straight ;)

Here we have the many takes until we got it just...right...

And here is how week 12 went...

Not gonna lie...its so weird to see a bump on my tummy!!

By week 11, we were still keeping the pregnancy pretty quiet. I wanted to take fun pictures to announce it to everyone but my amazing photographer friend was going to be outta town. So I figured I would just wait until she got back to make the announcement. So we will discuss more of that on week 12 (when I told everyone). Things haven't changed much from last week. I am still so tired, blah! I hope that will go away soon! Also I know this isn't very detailed, because as of right now I am actually 14 weeks. Oh procrastination...when will I ever learn?

The Chinese Chart Says...

So I decided to see what the wise Chinese say about the gender of my baby. According to the chart HERE, it says I am going to have a GIRL! But of course we won't know for sure until we go to the Fetal Studios to see.  We are planning to go on Johnny's birthday, April 24th.

We really have NO idea, inclinations, "feelings" nothing on what the gender is. It will be a complete surprise. SO EXCITED!

5 Weeks - 10 Weeks

So I have kept my pregnancy pretty hush hush haha. I don't know why I am just silly. I figure my family and best buds know, so I don't mind waiting awhile to tell the world.

Starting at about 6 weeks, BAM!! Morning sickness hit & I was super super tired. This has been tough for me. I haven't been throwing up or anything, but just throughout the day I feel gross and can't eat very much. I started drinking ginger ale and that has REALLY helped. So if you know me, I am always tired. Now adding  being pregnant in the mix and I am lethargic! It's horrible! I go to be at like 8:30-9. During my lunch breaks I have to come home and take naps! And then when I get home from work I usually nap too!

So about three weeks ago, I got a super bad cold. UGH. My immune systems never fails to suck. It lasted about a week. Monday through Saturday. So then Saturday I wake up in the middle of the night and what do ya know? Now I have the FLU! That was unpleasant.

Last week I was able to go to California for Nationals with the Alta cheerleaders! So much fun. Sadly, I couldn't go to Disneyland, because I couldn't go on any of the fun rides! Sad! But I know Disneyland will always be there waiting for me :)

On March 12th we went to our first doctor's appointment. I was freaking out. "What if I go in and there is no baby inside??" I was stressed about that. So they called us back. We waited for a little bit in the room. Finally the nurse came, asked a few questions, gave me this goody sack with lots of good things inside. Then I met my doctor. He is awesome. I am really glad we decided to go with him. He took us to the ultrasound room and there it was...this little baby inside of me! And we were able to hear the heartbeat. Such an amazing experience I will never forget.

This past Thursday I started feeling crappy again. I went into my doctors, and I have a UTI. For realssss?? This is the worst time for my immune system to give up on me! Not  a fun weekend. Also the doctors scared me because they said I might have kidney stones! I was NOT looking forward to that. Luckily nothing has happened and the antibiotics have been doing wonders. Hallelujah.

Now I am ready for a healthy spurt. No more sicknesses for this girl!!

10 Weeks:

Sleep: I usually have to get up once in the middle of the night to pee. I slept REALLY good weeks 4 - 9. Now its hard to sleep on my tummy :(

Best moment last week: Our first doctors appointment.

Movement: Not yet.

Food cravings: I wouldn't say "crave" but I have had a few loaded baked potatoes mmmmm

Gender: Don't know yet, but in my dreams its always a girl.

Labor signs: Ya hopefully not for 30 more weeks!

A New Chapter in Life

We found out on Superbowl Sunday (Feb 3rd) that I am prego!  We told my family the following Saturday at a family birthday get together. We huddled everyone in for a group photo, but in reality Johnny was "filming" instead of taking a picture. He then began to say, "Ok everyone 1,2,3....." Then I whip out, "Hey guess what everyone, I am PREGO!" Everyone just kept smiling for the picture until I said, "No, really...I am!" Then everyone freaked out and had a jolly good time haha. No one believed me because...well...I wasn't planning on getting pregnant for awhile. But everything happens for a reason! And we are as happy as can be!

So as of 4 weeks approx. pregnant here is what I looked like: (Pretty much the same as usual)

So as of right now, I feel completely normal. Like nothing even happened! No morning sickness, no sleepiness, nothing. I can handle that!

Here are the facial expressions we expressed when we found out. As you can tell...I was a lil bit more freaked out than Johnny :)
